It should be there in your pc that is installed by default and can be started by going to the windows, navigating to run, find MSTSC and hit Enter.

On the other hand, when it comes to RealVNC it needs to be installed. Installation can be done on remote as well as local computers. One thing that you need to keep in mind is the fact that you need to check the server along with the viewer for the respective pc you want to connect and log into. Ensure as a user that you have the password right and to ensure, check the start program for service. However, this step can be completely ignored if you have Windows XP Pro, Windows 7 Pro/Ultimate, and Vista Ultimate/Pro. Hence, this means that this only needs to be carried out for the Home versions of Windows.

At Hamachi, you are able to download a personal Virtual Private Network. The software has maintained a good reputation and has been around for quite a while now. The company was bought back by LogMeIn. You can easily download the free version for which all you have to do is to opt for unmanaged download. Once you have installed the Hamachi you can then follow the instruction. Launch the client successfully and name your computer as per your choice. Also see to it that you have noted all the IP addresses that are presented to you by Hamachi. This would be integrated in your server for VNC or Remote Desktop.

On your remote computer install the Hamachi client and follow the same steps noting down everything. This time around you would have to choose and join the existing network and integrate in the name and password for your network as in the last step. Here ensure that you are able to see your pc in the list of Hamachi client. If you are unable to do so, you have to restart the entire procedure.

Once this has been done you are at a good point. Start the RealVNC or Remote Desktop and integrate in the IP address where it mentions server. You should know the user and the account name to which you are connecting.
